Revd Alex Randle Bissell: Assistant Curate at St Andrew's, Eastern Green, Coventry and Diocesan Environmental Officer, Diocese of Coventry, moving shortly to be Vicar of the Pastrow Benefice, near Andover. Former Deputy Head of President Kennedy School, Coventry.
Godfrey Armitage: Member of Chapter and Senior Churchwarden at Coventry Cathedral. Certificate Director and Tutor in Ecology and Conservation, at Centre for Lifelong Learning and retired from Institute of Education, Warwick University
Professor Sam Berry: A reader in the Diocese of Rochester, he was a member of General Synod for 25 years. He was Professor of Genetics at University College, London and was President of British Ecological Society, the Linnean Society, The European Ecological Federation and Christians in Science. He has written extensively on environmental issues.
Emma Griffiths: Assistant Director for Reconciliation at Coventry Cathedral and Head of Coventry Cathedral Education Depertment
Revd Margot Hodson: One of our main speakers, she is Vicar of the Haddenahm Benefice in Buckinghamshire and was previously Chaplain of Jesus College, Oxford. She is on the Management Board of the John Ray Initiative and of A Rocha UK, writes extensively on environmental issues and is a co-author of Cherishing the Earth with her husband, Martin.
Professor Mike Hulme: Professor of Climate and Culture at King's College, London, he served on the IPCC from 1995-2001 and was the Founding Director of the Tyndall Research Centre for Climate Change Research.
Sam Slatcher: A PhD student at Durham University, researching creative community projects in ethnically diverse communities, he interned with Coventry Cathedral's Reconciliation Ministry Team in 2012 and played a significant part in the early thinking about the conference.
The Right Hon. Caroline Spelman MP: Conservative MP for the nearby Meriden Constituency, she is the Second Church Estates Commissioner and was former Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. She is active in Christians in Parliament and involved in trade justice and environmental issues.
Dr Ruth Valerio: Churches and Theology Director at A Rocha UK, she is a writer and a speaker with a passion for the world that we live in and for its inhabitants, and a desire to motivate others to live in ways that look after and respect this earth.
David Williams: A member of the Cathedral Council, he works with Coventry Cathedral, challenging Coventry to live up to its strapline of being a City of Peace and Reconciliation. He was Coordinator for Coventry Cathedral's Faith in Conflict Conference (2013) and is a CEDR Accredited Mediator.
Canon Kenyon Wright: as Director of International Ministry and of the International Centre for Reconciliation, he founded the Community of the Cross of Nails (1974), whose first international meeting (1975) at Sewannee, Tennessee, was Ecology and Christian Responsibility. He chaired the Scottish Constitutional Convention and is involved in developing participative social democracy in Scotland. He published Cosmic Crisis and Creation in 2012.
